Thyrowise states a small number of medical facts — typical reference ranges, a retest interval, how levothyroxine is absorbed. Every one of them comes from a published source, and the app names the source next to the claim. The rule for the project is blunt: a claim with no source does not ship.
Everything else the app shows you is a count of your own logs, presented as a count.
Thyrowise shows typical adult ranges of about 0.4–4.0 mIU/L for TSH, 0.8–1.8 ng/dL for free T4 and 2.3–4.2 pg/mL for free T3, and says throughout that ranges are approximate and differ between laboratories.
Thyroid Function Tests — American Thyroid Association
Thyrowise says TSH is usually rechecked about 6–12 weeks after a dose change, and waits that long before showing what a dose change did.
Hypothyroidism and ATA Professional Guidelines — American Thyroid Association
Thyrowise says levothyroxine is absorbed best on an empty stomach and offers a 30–60 minute wait before coffee or breakfast, and says to keep calcium, iron, magnesium and antacids at least 4 hours away from a dose.

Thyrowise describes TPO antibodies as the marker associated with Hashimoto's thyroiditis, usually measured once rather than tracked.

The symptoms Thyrowise offers as one-tap chips are the ones commonly associated with an underactive thyroid and Hashimoto's.
Hypothyroidism — American Thyroid Association; Hypothyroidism (Underactive Thyroid) — NIDDK
A total measures bound and free hormone together, so it shifts when binding proteins change, while free measurements more accurately reflect how the thyroid is working.
Thyroid Function Tests — American Thyroid Association
Logged without a built-in normal range, because this test is reported against each laboratory's own cut-off. Antibodies help make the initial diagnosis, but following their levels over time does not track how the thyroid is doing.
Antithyroglobulin antibody test — MedlinePlus, U.S. National Library of Medicine; ATA
Thyrowise records a reverse T3 result if you have one, and says plainly that a review of the literature does not support measuring it routinely in the care of hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, and that most clinicians do not use it.
Clinical Thyroidology for the Public, Vol 12 Issue 1 — American Thyroid Association
Thyrowise stores the TI-RADS category written on your ultrasound report and links to the body that publishes the system. It does not score your scan or interpret the report itself.
